Adult-use recreational cannabis ("marijuana", "weed") was legalized in Canada on October 17, 2018.
The Maximum Public Possession limit for cannabis products in Canada is 30 grams, or cannabis equivalent.
The Gocanna Calculator was developed to allow you to easily determine your total possession quantity when carrying various cannabis products in Canada, and to assist you in monitoring your public possession limit. This App allows you to easily determine your possession quantity by converting all legal cannabis products into Federally applied ratios for Dried Flower Equivalents.

*NOTE: Only Dried Flower, Cannabis Seeds, Cannabis Seedlings and Infused Oils are currently legal for adults to purchase at retail locations in Canada. Edible products, Beverages and Concentrates are permitted to be made at home but are not currently available for retail purchase. The Government of Canada intends to make them available for retail purchase at a later time.
